Update on Music Provision 3 April 2020

The Instrumental Music Service is working tirelessly to get an online provision for pupils through Glow (all pupils have a Glow email address).

We are hoping to be operational for all pupils (even if it is just initial contact through Glow) by the end of the first week after the Easter Holidays.  Pupils will receive communication to join a particular Glow Team from their tutor to start this provision.

Many thanks for your cooperation during this challenging time.

Update on Music Provision

The Perth & Kinross Instrumental Music Service is busy creating an online resource for Instrumental Music pupils learning through Glow on Microsoft Teams and perhaps Google Classroom.  Instrumental pupils will be contacted in due course with an invitation and information on how to access this provision.

We will get to you as soon as possible!

In the meantime, keep practising and playing any of your tunes and repertoire.

PYO Prosecco Afternoon Tea 28/3/20

Dear Parents of PYO Members

Thank you to everyone who helped with bag packing in Morrisons on 23rd February. We have raised £330 towards PYO Concert Fund.

Next month we have our last and most favourite fundraiser – Prosecco Afternoon Tea, which was the fundraising winner for the Tour last year.

The Prosecco Afternoon Tea is happening on 28rd March in 10th Perthshire Scout Hut on 22 Murray Place at 2 – 4 pm.

It is a very elegant afternoon tea served in a traditional way with a bubbly add-on and featuring a great raffle prize draw. The main prizes include: Afternoon Tea for Two from Murrayshall Hotel, Afternoon Tea for Two from Ballathie House hotels and vouchers for Casella & Polegato.

The tickets for the Prosecco Afternoon Tea (£10 per person) are ON SALE NOW and will be available during PYO Monday rehearsals on 9th and 23rd March. In addition we are also selling the raffle prize tickets in advance and would like to ask you for your assistance in this. Each PYO Member will obtain a raffle prize book to sell a number of raffle prize tickets to friends and family.

We would like to kindly ask Parents for donations of raffle prizes and/or baking for this event (list of cakes to make: Victoria sponge, lemon drizzle, coffee and walnut, chocolate etc. traybakes). Please contact the Event Organiser - Clare Cahalin (cjcahalin@gmail.com or mob: 07846355874) if you would like to donate a cake of your choice.

Thank you very much for all your fundraising efforts.
Kind regards
